About Me -

Welcome to the studio! I’m an artist and textile designer with 10 years of apparel industry experience. I have a dynamic background with expertise in fabric, color and print design. I’m passionate about the art of textiles with a foundation of technical knowledge that is key to achieving the best end product. Before launching Jessie Bloom Studio, I worked for Hudson’s Bay Company’s private brands, managing areas from fabric sourcing to color and print development.  In addition, I’ve worked with companies such as Jones Apparel Group and H&M, designing custom artwork for their Fashion Against Aids Collection.

I studied Fiber Science & Apparel Design at Cornell University and had the unique privilege of designing the Cornell University Tartan plaid, Cornell’s namesake tartan registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans and produced by Pendleton Woolen Mills.
